Diwali is one of the most important festivals in our country throughout the year. Diwali is considered the last day of the year according to the Hindu calendar. Diwali is celebrated with much fanfare in our country. Talking about Diwali Date 2023, this year Diwali is on November 13. And on its bijj day i.e. 14th November according to the Hindu Panchag the new year is Happy New Year.

Following are the important festivals that occur in the month of October.

29th September to 14th October : Shraddha Paksha – Pitru Paksha: In Shraddha, works like Pitru Tarpan, Pinda daan, charity to the poor are done for the salvation of ancestors.

14 October 2023 (Saturday): Sarva Pitru Amas: Pitru Paksha ends on the new moon day of the month of Ashwin. Apart from this, a solar eclipse will also take place on this day. Mahalaya is also on this day.

15 October 2023 (Sunday): Navratri begins: Pratham Nortu: Navratri begins, on this day Kalash is installed in Durga temples and homes.

15 October to 23 October: 9 days are Navratri. In which Mataji is worshiped in villages and cities.

22 October 2023 (Sunday): This day is the Maha Ashtami of Sharadiya Navratri. It is also called Havanashtami.

23 October 2023 (Monday): This day is the ninth day of Sharadiya Navratri.

24 October 2023 (Tuesday): This day is Dussehra. Idols of Maa Durga are immersed on this day. Ravana Dahan is also done.

28 October 2023 (Saturday): The full moon celebrated in the month of Ashwin is called Sharad Purnima. On the day of Sharad Purnima, kheer and dudh paua are prepared and kept in the open sky at night, so that it acquires the quality of nectar.

After Navratri, the most important festival that comes at the end of the year is Diwali. Many festivals come together on Diwali. Which are as follows.Vaghbaras : Vaghbaras is on the day of Aso Vad Baras i.e. 11 November.

Dhanteras : Dhanteras is on the day of Aso Vad Teras i.e. 11 November.

Kali Chaudhas: Kali Chaudhas is on the day of Aso Vad Chaudash i.e. 12 November.

Diwali : Everyone is eager to know Diwali Date 2023. Diwali is a festival celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. Diwali falls on Aso Vad Amas Ne Day. This year Diwali date is on 13 November 2023.

New Year’s Day : The second day of Diwali means the beginning of the New Year. The first day of Kartak month is considered as New Year. New Year date is 14 November 2023.

Bhai Bij : Bhai Bij Aso month interest is on the Bija day i.e. 15th November.
