CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) Recruitment for Project Associate I Post 2021

Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry
Desirable experience: Candidate having at least one year experience in catalysis and/or organic synthesis is desirable. The selected candidate will have to work on the project entitled “Biomimetic design and applications of chiral bifunctional ligands for asymmetric functionalization reactions”. The candidate will be working on catalysis, organic synthesis, optimization, methodology development and analysis of chemical samples.
Fellowship: (i) Rs. 31000/- pm + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Age: Maximum 35 years, as on the last date of receipt of application through email. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Duration: These positions are purely temporary up to 31/03/2023. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI.
Interested candidates are requested to send application form along with necessary documents for scrutiny through e-mail to sbhadra@csmcri.res.in. The last date of receipt of email is 15/09/2021. Applications received by email will be scrutinized based on a certain criteria and only shortlisted candidates, as are eligible as per the criteria, will be asked to attend interview using online mode, i.e. Skype or MS-Teams due to COVID-19 situation. The details of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by email. Incomplete application/without application format would be rejected during screening.
The prescribed format for application is available with the advertisement. The candidate is requested to send an application along with particulars such as (1) Full name and postal address with e-mail id and phone no., (2) Date of birth proof, (3) Caste Certificate (if applicable), (4) passport size photograph, (5) Skype id, (6) Educational qualifications, and (7) Experiences (if any) together with the photo copies of certificates/testimonials. The original documents of the selected candidate will be verified at the time of joining and any deviation will led to the disqualification of the candidature.
After scrutinize all the applications, the shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail to attend online interview.
